What are earthing shoes?
One way in which we have lost our connection with the Earth is through modern footwear. Most shoes today are created from synthetics or rubber which act as a barrier between us and the Earth, blocking the flow of beneficial electrons. When going barefoot isn't an option, wearing a pair of conductive earthing shoes is the perfect way to stay connected to the Earth and receive the many benefits of earthing.
Earthing shoes include a conductive (usually copper) grounding plug on the sole of the shoe, connected to conductive laces on the shoe itself.
Which earthing shoes do we recommend?
We love the Earth Runners brand as they combine the barefoot benefits of earthing shoes with the functionality of minimalist running sandals. Earth Runners have a custom-moulded minimalist Vibram sole and a trademark grounded lacing system. The laces feature two parallel stitches of conductive thread up the entire length and are secured to the bottom of the sandal with a copper plug to keep you grounded and provide maximum electron flow.
Earth Runners have an incredibly comfortable lacing system that allows for excellent adhesion to the foot while facilitating natural articulation and connection to the Earth.
Different Earth Runner styles
With their range of both lightweight lifestyle sandals with lifestyle laces and their adventure sandals with performance laces, Earth Runners have a sandal style to suit all needs and tastes.
